Gunthorpe Weir

After my phsio appointment this morning, we went to river in the hope I could blip some swans, ducks or even a boat going through the weir, but, no such luck. It was a beautiful sunny very warm day and I always enjoy gazing at the moving water, seeing the odd duck on the far side of the river. And then the heavens opened, thunder and lightening and torrential rain which went on for over half an hour, we sat in the car watching several dog walkers getting wet through. After it stopped all I could blip was a very wet empty weir. When we arrived home, only 15 minutes journey, we had not had any rain at all.
