Great day...

at the Aegon championships at the Queens Club in London. I had hoped we might see Murray playing today but he and various other seeds were given a bye for the first round.. but we had some other very good matches.. two other British players, James Ward and Dan Evans.. they are both through to the second round - whoopee!! Well done them. It was an amazingly warm day and we are both rather sunburnt.. we were not too disappointed when the clouds gathered for the Leyton Hewitt match as the temperature was much more bareable.. it was over very rapidly in two sets ..he really is an amzing player..this was his 15th year playing at the Queens championship and he is a very classy player still.
