No it's not a rainbow....

I wish it was lol coz it sure clashes with my clothes.
This, is my bruise on my arm. And I must state that my arm is not the size of a large tree trunk, it was just really difficult trying to take a picture at that angle.

My doctor spent a looooong time giving me this bruise. So long in fact, that I had to have a toilet break halfway through. (I've had 3 kids, I can't hold it in forever anymore y'know) TMI? :)
Not to mention getting jabbed with 6 needles full of local anaesthetic that would send anybody running to the loo!! :(

Funnily enough, it's because of kids that I've got this bruise. As in, to ensure I don't have any more.
My doc was trying to remove my old contraceptive implant before putting a new one in. I say 'trying' (and boy did she try) because in actual fact, I'm doubly protected at the moment. Coz it's still bloody in there!!! 2 of them actually!!

Her parting words to me were to definitely take painkillers as soon as I got home.

As if that wasn't bad and scary enough, she also phoned the minute I got home, to tell me she'd rather I take a 3 day course of antibiotics too and she'd fax my prescription through to my local chemist. Seriously, I was a little freaked because they NEVER do that.....

Anyhow, it looks worse than it actually is now, but I've to go back so she can try again once it calms down........ tears much?

And if she can't, then I'll have to get sent to hospital to get my arm cut open and stitched back up again.

Not my idea of fun! I think I'd rather have a baby go to the dentist.....!
