Black water creek at pirate rock

This is Blackwater Creek. It runs behind our house and empties into the James River.

At this curve of the creek, there is a little beach which my family has played on for many years. My kids have collected rocks and learned to skip them across the creek. When they were younger, they played pirate on the two rocks that stick out into the creek. This scene is one of many good memories, of normal every day times, when we were a family.

And now I am sharing it with you.
