Highly unusual

The topic of my assembly that is: a series of numbers rather than my usual fixation with words. It is meant as a countdown for my year group as they head towards no longer being the youngest in the school. Some of them will get it hopefully whilst the rest will just stumble on into Year 8.

It has been a long day to start the week with: lessons taught, duty done - including dodging thunder, lightning and torrential rain just as the last bell of the day went - and meeting new parents. I was supposed to get some marking done tonight as well but I just wasn't in the mood. At least the assembly is ready for the morning.
