Finally

We have a kitchen table it's only taken about 4 years!
Bought it at a vintage co operative in Cowbridge and the lovely delivery man brought it today.
It makes the kitchen look complete (even if it's not finished one day maybe).
Sadly it looks like we might have to have yet another room re plastered :-( we seem to have damp in the dinning room not sure if the damp proof course has failed or if it's coming from somewhere else, there is also a wet patch behind our sofa this we think is condensation as it's an internal wall and it has appeared all of a sudden.
Fingers crossed the living room is condensation but I think it will need to be re plastered no matter what.
The main room to get sorted is the back bedroom which will be the boys play room. If that is done ad they have some where to play we can get the rest of the work done as and when.

Dad is back from Oman on Friday! It's only for a holiday but it feels like he's been gone forever. It actually seems longer than when he was in China (he was gone for a lot longer when he was in China before he came home). I think it's because the boys have changed so much since he went.
