9-18mm

Insurance man came around today to look at the floor. Seems that as the flooring was done correctly and goes under the skirting board, instead of having the beading around the edge it, isn't covered under our house insurance. The only way to claim would be under the flat blocks building insurance. Like that’s going to happen. Ahhhhh!!!! ^%$@* insurance companies.
Also turns out that the money we would get back was only £600 and our excess is £450 so not really worth it. Will have to have a think when we get back from holiday.

The new part for the washing machine still hasn't arrived. That’s a week know. I could have ordered it myself by now online. We are running out of time and underwear to get it fixed before we go away. Looks like a trip the laundrette later this week.

My new lens arrived at work today. I was after this lens for underwater stuff. Most of the photos you take are either very wide or macro. Hopefully this 9-18mm will be able to do all the wide stuff without having to get a fisheye lens and another front port for the housing.
Dive kit sorted and packed tonight so getting there slowly.
Also managed to collect an old cardboard box from the bike shop to ship my bike back in. Just need to get it packed ready for collection next Monday when I'm off.
