Paris

Went to Paris for my birthday today. Had a fabulous day, despite the weather.

Went to a couple of exhibitions at the Pompidou Centre, saw the Notre Dame cathedral, had a heart attack on a plate for lunch, went to the Louvre (where this was taken), walked through the Tuilleries in the pouring rain, had afternoon tea at Laduree and had a look round the Sacre Couer. When we came out of there the rain had cleared so we at least walked back to the station for the train home in sunshine!

All in all, a really lovely way to spend a birthday!
