Lady Chaffinch

There are several babies coming to the bird table these days.

It is a lovely day an we were having lunch outside when this lady came and was not in the least bothered that we were only about three feet away.
My husband picked up the camera and took this photo. He used to be a keen photographer and won several awards for his photos but when digital arrived he seemed to lose interest and bowling took over as a hobby! Perhaps he has not lost the skill!
