Böttcherstraße

A day of shopping in Bremen, getting some stuff I still needed, and buying bread before the long weekend. Finally found myself some new shoes that I can wear to work, only one pair in the whole city that fit.

The Böttcherstraße is really a gem. I had no idea it existed (so far for preparing for the city :P), and stumbled upon this entrance. Then the street itself is filled with old buildings, each with their own story, and to top it off, there is a glockenspiel, whose 30 bells produce pretty songs three times a day, accompanied by scenes of famous aviators and explorers as woodcuts.
