Mud and Mountains

This morning I did my first mud run 5k with Anna and Bryan. Bryan is a military vet so Anna and I were able to run with the veterans team since two people couldn't make it. They were awesome.

After the run we had a nice cookout and I ate a reindeer sausage "hot dog". Then Bryans friends invited us up to a bbq they would be having at their house in the mountains. After cleaning off, we went to their house and I had my first moose "hot dog" and met all of Bryans friends. They are such a fun and lively group; very comfortable with each other, and love new company. I'm hoping to go hiking with them this week and already have plans to go camping with them next weekend.
