Another Birthday

I left my mid-forties behind today, for better or worse. Truth is that because of the physical demands of my job I am fitter and slimmer than I've been for at least 10 years, probably more.

We celebrated by having a few friends over and I threw some prawns on the BBQ. It is still unseasonably warm here but cool enough to enjoy the heat from a wood stove.

My nephew Garvin came along later, mainly because I forgot to tell him it was a lunchtime do. Typical me.

I drank waaaaaay too much but really enjoyed the afternoon.
