Heavy Skies

The late afternoon rain has gone and the heavy skies are lifting. Wonderful warm light was to be had about 30 minutes after this shot was taken. I really must get a tripod and some HD filters!
It was the annual Street Festival yesterday. Hot and sunny. The festival's official start is noon, but Steve Bauer and me were up with the sparrows fart setting up a couple of 'power watt' bikes with computers and a large screen for some interaction and fun with the public. We had a tent and a truck load of propaganda for promoting the Mattamy National Cycling Centre and our Cycling Academy programs we will be running in the fall. People were already about the street before 8am and it was 10pm before I had a chance to rest the vocal cords. Never talked so much in my life! Have a very sore throat today. Had a lot of people visit and ask questions. Never got a chance to take the camera out of the bag. Didn't even get a phone pic, no time!

I need some time off, but that looks unlikely until after the PanAm games which are only 12 months away.
