Riding In Style
After yesterday's epic trip to and through the National Museum of Anthropology we decided to take it easier today and stay closer to home. Began the day with coffee on the eighth floor of the Sears Building, which provided a great view of Alameda Park and the Palacio De Bella Artes. We then strolled to the Monumento A La Revolución along the main road which for today was closed to traffic so it could be used by hordes of bicyclists. As we approached the monument, we saw a group of young women dressed in their finest - most likely a Quinceanera celebration. We were passing when a posse of motorcycles showed up. Each young women jumped on the back of one and they all roared off. Everyone in the vicinity was taking photos, including the cops assigned to control the traffic. It was quite the sight.
