Pining for the fjords?

Whilst out in the garden this afternoon I was amazed to see a blue parakeet in the tree at the front of the house. There have been reports of green parakeets in the valley, but this was my first sighting of a parakeet in the wild.

I ran for my camera but the bird had flown....with a murder of crows in pursuit.

So here's my substitute blip...
