Yesterday George returned home with a nasty cut on his hind paw that had to be stitched up at the vet's. With the weekend fees it cost about as much as a month's worth of groceries but George doesn't seem to appreciate it - actually I can't get rid of that sinking feeling that he is trying to contact the mother ship.
