Christmas soon?

Back in December PurbeckDavid posted a blip of a Christmas Cactus to which I commented that ours looked great in June. His reply was somehat doubting of my horticultural knowledge which I do admit is very limited but a Christmas Cactus is fairly recognisable.

So here for David are two of ours, possibly even related to his - such things run in our family. Not sure if ours is flowering too late or too early!

Weather unbearably hot and I still can't use the pool which is warmer but still 2°C under the magical 30°C I need! Hope the weather stays for David's visit to this part of the world in the coming weeks. Little way still until my grandchildren arrive but will do my best to keep the pool ready for you, Charlotte & Elliot.
