Today was again a mix of nice sunshine and heavy thunderstorms.

We caught the nice sunshine and visited Lea Gardens , as we do most years, to see the rhododendrons. It was a pleasant walk but the blooms were all past their best. I did enjoy some macro shots, the first time in ages. This industrious bee covered in pollen was the best of the bunch (I now remember how hard it is with camera hand held in a breeze to get focused when everything is moving).
