Diesel Loco 5830, Under Blue Skies

Today, in glorious sunshine under blue skies, was the last day of Keighley and Worth Valley Railway’s annual Diesel Gala. Diesel Class 31 D5830 , owned by Type One Loco Ltd. visited from the Great Central Railway for the event, This is the first time this loco has operated away from the GCR, and proved a great very popular attraction at the gala, appealing to the many, many diesel buffs who attended.

Many thanks indeed to all who made such lovely comments and awarded stars and hearts to ‘Wizards Express’ of yesterday. You were all kind enough to elevate it, albeit briefly, to Spotlight, leaving me feeling both proud and humbled. Many thanks indeed.
