Crammond Island

Football for both boys this morning - the usual mixed bag of good and bad points, but at least it only rained a little bit.

In the afternoon we walked across the causeway to Crammond Island. In the 18 years we've lived in Edinburgh, we've never done it. By the time we'd explored the island a bit, the tide had gone right out, so we walked back along the sand, until it was really just mud and we were in danger of sinking without trace!

Then a trip along the coast to South Queensferry to look at the bridge, and get some fishnchips. Really lovely day today - felt like summer might have arrived. I may even have sunburn!
