Orchis masculata Early Purple Orchid

These are very tall, about 30". That may mean my id is incorrect. They were growing at the bottom of the steps at Moore Reserve. There wasn't much about, a pair of whitethroats was probably the most exciting sighting. I was bitten by a clegg (it died) and then the mosquitoes got me. I still enjoyed the walk.
