Bob on his barge..

..waiting for one of the many locks to fill at Barrowford. I often say hello to this old fella who lives on his barge on the canal with his collie dog. Today I waved to him from one of the little wooden bridges that cross each of the locks by the winders.
Not the clearest of shots, but I just loved his hair and his tobaccoey beard from his pipe...against the big old knotted lock gates.
Been a gorgeous day here after horrendous rain and storms yesterday and into the night.
