Cormorant

Wow, I've seen the Cormorant on the river today and actually been able to get a half decent blip of him.
I took a cup tea down to the river this afternoon along with the camera when I noticed movement in the water, he came up just feet from me with a fish in his mouth but I wasn't quick enough to capture it. I patiently waited and noticed the water movement again, he was swimming further up river, I gingerly crept nearer but he must have radar as he quickly took to the air and I was able to get this photograph of him. At least I know he is after the fish and will no doubt be back again.
I have back blipped Day Three of our holiday in Cumbria for the 1st June 2014.
