What are you talking about?

"What are you talking about?"

I think this is the most over-used phrase in American TV and particularly in 24. Now I love 24, I love the real-time aspect to it, even if it is a bit far fetched, and I am very happy to sit and watch Jack Bauer for 24 hours or more. I understand that "What are you talking about?" is a plot device to keep everyone up to date with what's going on but PLEASE a little imagination wouldn't go amiss.

I'm currently watching 24 season 6 and decided to count exactly how many times anyone used this phrase - but disaster, I got up to episode 10 and lost count, I think it was something to do with this guy . . .
