Snow cave

In a delightful contrast to yesterday, we spent most of the day outside. After Gordon went off to work, we went for the usual walk to the river. After a quick bowl of soup and Noah happily napping, us girls went out to try and make an igloo. With the aid of a lego box, I made bricks and piled them up while Lily did the pointing ha. It took quite a while, and as we were finishing Steve Sam and Charlie arrived to help.
Then the children played 'sabre tooth tigers', using the cave as a den for a while. And it didn't collapse on anyone's head. Success.
