white lily

The bulbs of these lilies were given to me by my nan years ago. she said they came from Ireland and called them Irish Lilies. I am sure that is not their name. theses ones are growning well in the front garden and were beetle free until this year. I will have go over them and kill the little bugs as they have destroyed all the ones in the back garden. I am determined not to lose these as well as they are so pretty.

A beautiful warm sunny day today so we went to the garden centre and spent loads on roses and bark and farm manure for the new rose garden. I predict lots of work for me next week. But first a very unhealthy Macy D for lunch.
