Serious business

Out for a walk with The Sultan of Olari (for those who haven't heard this is the nickname of my hubbie) today. It was "only" -11°C (yesterday about -15°C, and on Friday -19°C) so it was quite pleasant.

Yesterday's struggle still weighed on my shoulders , it was a little hard to relax and just let the inspiration take over. I know that it is not good to feel obligated and to push oneself to photograph.

I now realize the reason for my wandering mind - I have not been meditation actively for a few days. That affects me and I get restless. So I'm about to correct the situation.

At the end of our walk there came this skier with his bright red jacket going really fast - up the hill. He was seriously skiing, in this "skating" style. I can't help myself for getting a bit amused when someone shows that much dedication, with a serious face. There is something comical in this, quite endearing.

P.S. If you look close you can see a glimpse of The Sultan of Olari in the right upper corner.
