Doocot Mansions, Dunkeld

After Sunday breakfast, I took a stroll in the grounds of the hotel we were staying at this weekend. Amidst the trees I noticed this, probably the largest bird nest box I've ever seen. Home for multiple birds all in the one building…not unlike modern apartment living for humans!

Although I could hear lots of bird song, unfortunately I didn't get a glimpse of any birds either entering or exiting this home. But hopefully it serves them well.
