Flying downhill in the snow

I headed out to the Pentalands with a few JogScotland folk for a bit of a workout. We're all training for the Carnethy 5 in 5 weeks. We went up Turnhouse and Carnethy, then came back via The Howe. At the top of Tunrhouse it was blowing a gale and the snow was stinging the little bit of bare flesh between the top of my socks and the bottom of my longjohns. Andrew only had shorts on, so I imagine he was regretting that a bit.

It was tough - deep snow with a crust on top so I kept getting bogged down - but it was great fun. The downhills were especially great. I've never seen so much snow in the Pentlands, and so soft when you fall!

p.s. Can you see Mount Fuji behind us?
