SUPERMARINE ...

Was hoping to blip the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight today as part of the 7oth Anniversary D-DAY celebrations & was in prime position on the Harbour Arm to see the Lancaster ,Spitfire and Hurricane come around the Cliffs low over the sea on approach which would had made the most fantastic Photo.Unfortunately they were unable to display due to a hold up or technical issue I'm guessing.I haven't got around to looking online to find out what happened yet.
Many disappointed people on the beach waiting as well.On the plus side the other Spitfire turned up right on time which is always great.And a local boy at the controls!.
So not the best of photos I know,but who really cares,the spitfire looks the part in or out of focus and on full zoom.
