1st Jabs

Boo, today we took Jessica for her 8 week check up and 1st round of immunisations.
She was great with the Dr, who thought she was a perfect little baby. Great that was...until the hip check! Well, that went down like a lead balloon. The dr was amazed at how strong her legs were, she struggled to do the test.
Then the nurse, who gave Jess lovely tasting drops, full of the Rota virus. Then injected her in each thigh. She recovered from the first one, but the second tipped her over the edge. The saddest cry and real tears, which she soon forgot about with some milk.
A nice long nap, a visit from Jane, a walk and a bath was a lovely end to her traumatic day.
