Great Clouds

I was doing a spot of gardening this morning when I saw a hole in the clouds - it seemed to be caused by rotation.
I ran in to get the camera and the hole had lost a lost of its drama, but the clouds were still something rather special and seemed to have a crack in them (maybe it was Dr Who's crack in time).
There was a huge rotation formed and I managed to get to a higher vantage point in time to get the plane flying through it .... the eye of the storm that never was.
