Big day for Seaford.

150 years since steam trains came to Seaford. Prior to that they stopped at Newhaven for the boat train, however Seaford became a busy place because of troops stationed here, and the many schools which opened because of the "healthy" atmosphere. Healthy = very windy!

For those who know about these things -

"Britannia class ‘Pacific’ steam locomotive
No. 70013 “Oliver Cromwell” with a class 33 diesel locomotive at the rear of the train."
