Pre-Event Shooting

On June 4th I was on hand at Samsung's #DitchtheDSLR event in Times Square. The event itself was huge and brought in the masses in and around Times Square - a lucky 300 early attendees even got a chance to swap out their old DSLR for a brand new NX30; the very same camera used for this image.

I couldn't pass up the opportunity to shoot a few street scenes in the minutes prior to the event. A construction crew building an expansion to the pedestrian plaza by the Marines Recruitment Station was on of the day's favorites.
