Family Outing

It's heartening to see so many cygnets surviving to a good age on the canal at Skipton. Too often they are predated, sadly by human animals as well as animal predators. You'll have to forgive the angle here as it was wellying down and I wasn't about to get down on the towpath to get a blip on the level!

I got back under the 30 minutes at Parkrun this morning but not quite a PB, then it was on the train to Skipton to pick up my sunglasses (getting in holiday mode) from the opticians. Much of the rest of the day has been spent on my major project as the predicted weather front arrived and it's been too miserable to go out again. As I type, though, the evening sun has appeared and blue sky with it!
