Cemetery road after rain

Seems appropriate to stick with poppies after yesterday's D Day memorial events. I loved the story of the 89 year old who determined to make it to Normandy bunked off from his nursing home : they found out where he was when hearing it on the media.

A day of weather extremes : monsoon, so I set off on an " expodition" for bread,through Cemetery Road in all my waterproofs, then had to keep taking bit's off on the way back as summer returned.
