Misty day

Sarah and Sebastian led me on an adventure today.

We started off at Lyttleton market - where we had to have organic feijoa iceblocks each. Divine! Then we stopped for some street entertainment - MulletMan (who I watched about 18 months ago in Restart Mall) has refined his act since I last saw him. Still entertaining and worth the money he collected after his show.

After a stroll through the market we headed out to Cass Bay and then to Governors Bay. The weather really never lifted while we were there. This is Governors Bay looking across to Lyttleton from Margaret Mahy's seat.

When we went up to Victoria Park on the way home we saw the first sunshine of the day - but by then it was already cooling down again. Sebastian had a great time climbing on rocks and searching for crabs at Governors Bay then climbing on rocks and playing on the slide at Victoria Park.

On the way home we were invited in to Sarah's Mum's hours - for Sarah's birthday dinner. Enchiladas, green rice and corn muffins followed by banoffie pie. I am now a stuffed little piggie.

A great day - I was supposed to motorhome shopping but sightseeing was much more fun!
