Day Off Bike to Kincaid Park

Today I biked a total of 27.2 miles around the city and this picture was taken in Kincaid park.

This was, so far, my best day in Alaska. While at the beach I kept laughing to myself because of how happy I was and then thought of this quote:
"Happiness only real when shared" - Christopher McCandless

At first I wished I had a friend there to share that perfect moment with, and then I was reminded: I know at least one person that's always with me.

Kincaid was beautiful. The beaches here are so different but I love them. They reminded me of an episode of Skins. Cold enough that you need your sweater, very windy, and almost no people. I walked around and ate lunch under this woodlike structure and read for a bit.

When I biked to downtown I got a free pass into the museum. Afterwards I ate lunch with three of my friends in this nice place called Humpy's, and to our surprise Youngblood Hawke and Capital Cities were doing a live show next door so we got to hear them live while eating. I then ended the day by watching the new season of Orange is the New Black.
