Engaged...

Last year, my niece moved to England, to start a new life with the man she loved. I blogged about it.

It's going well for her. At 24, she's a retail manager and has just been offered a promotion, to run a bigger store.

She came back to Bonnie Scotland this week to share some good news. Her sweetheart popped the question and she said yes. She now has the perfect accessory - a gorgeous diamond ring - and is excitedly looking forward to her future.

My husband, a keen photographer, took this picture at Loch Riddon last week. It's beautiful and quirky. And - framed and titled "engaged" - it's the perfect gift for the happy couple.
