Bathed in light from the newly risen sun

Woke this morning to see the sky a brilliant red out to the east over Kawau Bay and past Kawau Island. Took a little time to get my camera, by which time the sky had diminished in splendour, and the resultant photo didn't catch my fancy.

Got into my gear; only the second time this year I've worn a long sleeved running top and gloves. The latter weren't really necessary as it turned out. I ran past Algies Bay into the countryside. That's where I cam across a field with a group of yearlings. The sun had just risen and was still a bright (dazzlingly so) orange ball, and cast its light on this hillside and the cattle.

This was S' choice, and is a bit of a change.

Sat inside all day reading on the computer the agenda papers for Tuesday and Wednesday. More yet.
