Eagles Feeding In The Lagoon At Roche Harbor

I kept hearing eagles, and lots of them at the end of the bay, where I usually find my blue heron in a lovely lagoon. There were lots of them....diving down into the bay. I grabbed my camera and headed down the docks. I could tell this was going to be good!

As I approached they were in the trees all around the lagoon....diving for little fish, sometimes 4 at a time would drop off the high branches, hover and someone turn on a dime and swoop in for a perfect grab, and then equally soar out. You can never get enough of these encounters, seriously.....you want it to never end!
