Baby Sparrows

My plan for today was to pick my grandson Merrick up...then take him to lunch, and possibly to a playground.

We picked Mar-mar (grandma) up...then went to Taco Bell.(Merrick's choice, not mine.) But...the little man said his tummy hurt, and he ate next to nothing. Uh-oh.

So, my daughter picked him up, and they both went home and had a long nap.

The hummingbird's nest (at my daughters house) that I posted the other day still has Mama sitting on the eggs. I think it's going to be real hard to shoot the chicks when they come. I just don't think I can get high enough.

But, this sparrows nest is easily accessible. It's in a planter on their neighbors front porch railing. The mother sparrow doesn't appear to be very attentive...rarely in the area.

Beautiful day here today. 77F and sunny. Since I didn't keep the baby...I got a lot of yard work done.
