Free!

I think my dentist must have one of the best views in front of any surgery - this is what I came out to this morning after the latest in a series of visits that culminated in the fitting of a crown to a back molar. I was struck by the beauty of the scene, one that I've seen in all weathers - that's why I took the photo.

But it wasn't till I put it on the computer and had a proper look that I realised that that lovely pigeon was flying over me as if to celebrate my release, and that's what makes it today's blip. (Actually, I wish I could do a composite of the two images produced by the HD process - you can see the bird's wings move!)

So there you are. A celebratory pigeon against the morning blue.
