Edinburgh Botanics Herbology Day

I had a lovely day with students of the RGBE Herbology diploma course giving a presentation about seaweed . The afternoon was spent making herbal infusions and seaweed gels to use in the recipes for face and handcreams. They had a lovely day and were delighted with the end result .
This is a handful of heartsease -viola tricolor which is effective for eczema and other skin conditions .

It was a long demanding day as I haven't done any workshops for a while but I really enjoyed the enthusiasm of the group . We are leaving home at 530 to catch the ferry from Oban so it's off to bed for me.
