Ice Breakers
Got up early and decided that I fancied an evening long walk with Juno so just hung around the house this morning.
Cleared the pavements for the oldies in the street, 2 other neighbours came out and we did a far bit.
The girls had football indoors, it was an ok session, we had only an hour and I was trying to cram in as much as I could. In the end the girls got switched in and really grapsed the coaching points.
Had a bit of lunch with a friend who happened to call about a stump opposite his house, turned up with saw and stump to be fed and watered.
Started to clear the road outside the house so we could park the car. It was coming up in huge sheets of ice. Eco daughter and I had great fun trying to get the biggest bit. We also cleared with the neighbour his drive. We started to build ice sculptures by the kerb.
Then we tried to build an igloo, it did not work out so we have built an ice
Cliet , it looks great and will blip tomorrow.
This is the boys downstairs with the big bits of ice.
Got some stumps today and gathered the last from their hiding places, 90 in total. When out for evening walk with Juno, saw one in a garden, asked the man if I could have it. He said no it had cost him £8. Crazy money no wonder there are not many around.
