Foulshaw Moss

Today's the day ............................ to bird watch

Yes - I know - it's a dreadful picture. You'll just have to take my word for it that it's the tree at Foulshaw Moss Nature Reserve where the ospreys have built a nest.

You can try zooming in - but I don't suppose it will make the female osprey who has been (hopefully) sitting on eggs for several weeks now - any more convincing. The nest is right at the top and she is looking out over the edge of it.

It is highly likely that, if all is well with the eggs, the chick(s) will hatch possibly this weekend. And if that happens, I'm going to go back with my tripod this time to try and get you a better picture ......................
