It's D(day) Bees Knees

My garden has been buzzing all day with lots of lovely bumble bees I love the sound of the busy little workers as they search my flowers for nectar to take back to their home.

I have spent the whole day in sudden floods of tears as I've listened & watched to the D-Day celebrations on the BBC. This morning I burst into uncontrollable sobs listening to the veterans read 'For The Fallen' to the sounds of Nimrod playing in the background. I was late for my first appointment looking like a panda, but it brings everything else into stark reality. If it weren't for those brave soldiers who gave their lives for us we could not live the lives we have today. I'm proud to be a member of the Royal British Legion and would urge anyone moved by today to join themselves. It's never to late to start to support the guys that put their life on the line for you from the day they sign up. And that's the troops from now as well as then. Help the Heroes is administered by the RBL and we need as many supporters & members as we can get to look after these guys old or young for years to come.
