The calm after the storm

We visited friends today to "celebrate" Christmas. Really we were exchanging gifts for the kids. Abby wrapped all of the presents for the boys and Cole was proud of the job she did. Cole is in 4th grade but repeatedly told her the packages look great. : )

This is a picture out of their kitchen window. After a few storms last week and some flurries Friday, things have settled down in the Northeast. Lots of sun today and lots of cold...brrr.

Going to set the table and enjoy some home french onion soup. Yum!
