Sheets and lines

This weekend there is a special maritime festival in Bangor, County Down. I was leaving the Ards Man over to the marina and went to have a look at two 'Tall Ships', one of which was anchored in the bay and the other tied up alongside Eisenhower Pier.

The number of different sails, lines and ladders was pretty amazing. I have enough trouble with a mainsail and a genoa, so am impressed that the crew of this ship manages ten sails!

Such an adventure!
