Last minute travels

Originally I was going intending to go to Wales but when I found out it was the weekend of the Appleby Horse Fair I decided to head north instead.
I setoff late for various reasons so decided to use my National Trust membership and visited Sizergh Castle near Kendal. Beautiful gardens and a chance finally to use my "new" wide angle lens. I think I still need lots of practice but at least its a start.
Weather was very changeable - sunshine and showers
